The cards, staying true to the story of life and mortality, have a one-way back design that has a king in one corner and a jester in the other but there are other beautifully designed elements that push it into a one-way design too. The inside also features a hot-stamped foil design too, something they were able to keep for future versions of the deck too. The tuck features a satin gold foil stamping across the entire thing, highlighting the intricate design across. The Blood Red Edition deck of playing cards is Joker and the Thief's third deck of playing cards and the final deck that completed the trilogy of the main, or original, Joker and the Thief line.
